This is a killing combination, because not only you will have a very small iPad to carry it anywhere you want, but the resolution it will support will be of a great quality.

This really depends on your needs and I can tell you that this will not be an easy pick. If you approach this from the technological view, then it is very clear that iPad Air should be your first choice.
In the other hand, if you want something very small and capable of providing high level resolutions, iPad mini 2 is the right one for you.
