5 years ago I tried to unlock my device with various methods. I learned my lesson the hard way so, please take a moment and read carefully my Device Unlocking hints.
How Network Unlock my device to all Carriers
Despite our blog is focused on iPhone Unlock anything that will be described below can be used on Android phones.
Let’s not forget that before I become an iPhone Unlock expert, this site helped me to unlock my device with success.
There are 3 ways to unlock any device and remove the simlock and you should try them out in the order I will suggest.
Method 1: Unlock the device through the Locking Carrier’s Services
If I was you my first thought would be to unlock my device using the services of the Mobile Network which locked it. Of course, you need which Mobile Network to contact. If you are the original owner then this won’t be a problem but if you bought a used phone device you will probably need an IMEI Carrier Check first.
Now every Wireless Network has a different SIM Unlock Policy and your device can be unlocked only if it fulfills all the requirements. Most of the times it won’t cost you anything or you might have to pay a really small fee.
Thankfully, we already created an iPhone SIM unlock Guide on this purpose and you can skip there to find more about this method.
Method 2: Unlocking my device with IMEI Unlock
Most of the times, the Mobile Network will refuse to SIM Free the phone. In this case, the next logical step is to go for an IMEI Unlock Service in order to unlock my device.
The IMEI Unlock Services can be applied to various Carriers and the best thing is that failure is not an option. Your device will be unlocked or you will get your money back.
Don’t misunderstand me. Some devices can’t be unlocked and you need to accept it. Again only an IMEI Check can determine if your device is unlockable or not.
Method 3: Device Unlock with SIM Spoofing tools
I am talking about the iPhone Hardware Unlock. I also tried to unlock my device with a SIM Interposer in the past and I tested the most popular ones a couple of months ago and I can’t say that I am satisfied with the results. But if methods 1 & 2 fail this should be your last shot.
I just want to warn you that Hardware Unlock has low chances of success and various after effects. At least it is a cheap option.
Conclusion
The final choice is yours. This is what I would do if I wanted to unlock my device and after 5 years of iPhone Unlocking experience I strongly suggest you to follow my advice and proceed with the order I pointed out.
